Chrisams Designs Ltd is a reputable textile company dealing in products such as gowns, clinical coats, cushions, gomesi and other textile products. The company was conceived in 1987, more than 29 years ago. Throughout the years Chrisams Designs has employed more than 150 people. Currently there are 30 staff members.
Chrisams Designs is also Skilling Ugandans through training in Business tailoring, business management as well as taking on interns for mentorship and coaching.
The mission of Chrisams Designs Ltd is to create employment and eradicate poverty through high quality production and capacity building; we work as a team to give our customers great value for their money. Chrisams Designs has two operational areas through which it works to achieve its mission: A manufacturing concern; and Training.
A strong vibrant manufacturing enterprise producing quality products for local and export markets and contributing to strengthening of Uganda’s economic capacity through training enterprise.

Chrisams Designs started with three inexperienced Workers in 1988. Today the organization boasts more than 150 workers and over 30 experienced expert tailors.
Chrisams Designs celebrates a highly competitive workforce.
The fastest worker used to stitch 3 clinical coats a day in 2003. Today an average worker stitches 15 clinical coats in a day.

Chrisams Designs prides itself on being the first Ugandan company to make Graduation gowns and on now being almost the sole supplier of PHD gowns and Ceremonial gowns to many institutions of higher learning, including but not limited to:
